A well trained dog should dress the part. Our collars are for medium or large dogs. Measure your fur baby / hound or dog around the neck and allow 2 fingers inside the tape measure. This should give you the ideal fit for your dog to be comfortable and for you to maintain control of the dog.
Your dog depends on your selection of the collar to keep him safe. Leather is the ideal material for collars and is long lasting with just a little care. It is ideal because it is sustainable, molds to his neck and strong under a wide range of climate conditions. The hardware is solid brass. While woven nylon/ PLASTIC collars have their place for training but a leather collar is a natural and rugged material.
Medium collars are apprx. ~17 inches measured to the last adjustment hole. Large collars are apprx. ~19 inches again to the last adjustment hole.
If the collar is wet allow to dry slowly. To clean just a damp rag should be all that is needed. You can apply a leather conditioner as the collar wears especially where the brass tongue goes through the adjustment hole to assure the collar is strong and long wearing. Add leather conditioner in moderation to avoid making the leather too soft.
