Our Shoes Will Stretch

Kilim and sheared carpets are handmade materials.  There is room to stretch in the yarns and the weaves. If you are a half size it is our experience that you buy one size up larger [ 7 1/2  buys a size 8].

The length must be correct but the width will be snug across the top of the feet and toes. The shoe is the wrong size if it comes off your heel when walking. They should not be room to fit a finger between the shoe and the heel.  Shoes that are too long will not be comfortable.  Our shoes mold quickly to the feet but and become more comfortable over time. These woolie wonders are all stretch to the owner's feet.

For the Slides / Mules these shoes are cut slightly different and are more forgiving in sizing. Your heel should be at the back of the insole and as the carpet / kilim molds  to your feet your feet will set deeper into the shoes.

  For women seeking large and wider shoes the men's size 40 translates to a women's 10, the 41 becomes and 11 and 42 a women's size 12. We also offer custom shoes for the same price as our listed shoes. Please allow 3-4 weeks delivery. We will require a deposit on all custom orders.

Our shoes are built to be walking - far and wide. If shoes become wet allow they shoes to dry slowly. Stains other than red wine can usually be removed with a solution of vinegar and cold water. Blot the offending stains do not rub to remove stains.
